Found in Western Australia at elevations of 10 to 500 meters in open Eucalyptus forests and woodlands in humus enriched sandy soils as a miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with small round tubers giving rise to an erect stem enveloped by a basal rostette of elliptic, acute, undulate margins, reticulate leaves and blooms winter through spring on an erect, terminal, 4" [10 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with a basal acumianate bract.
