Found in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria Australia at elevations of 50 to 900 meters in forests, woodlands and grasslands as a small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with a basal rosette of 5 to 12, dark green, marginally flat leaves that blooms in the late winter and spring on an erect, 4 to 12" [10 to 30 cm] long, 3 to 10 flowered inflorescence
