Found in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia at elevations of 200 to 600 meters in open forests, woodlands and open Mallee scrublands on well drained soils as a miniature to small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial that flowers in the spring in Austrialia on a to 8" [to 20 cm] tall, erect, 2 to 6 flowered inflorescence with successively opening flowers.
