Found in Western Australia in sparse shrubby woodlands and mallee shrublands at elevations of 250 to 450 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid with a rosette of 8 to 12 leaves that blooms in the Australian winter and spring with an erect, 4 to 8.8" [10 to 22 cm] long, 2 to 8 flowered inflorescence.
