Common Name The Dilated Pterostylis - In Australia The Dimorphic Snail Orchid

Flower Size .75 to .94" [1.8 to 2.4 cm]

Found in Western Australia in woodlands and mallee communities, shriblands and on granite outcrops at elevations of 50 to 350 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid with a basal, rosette of dull green , flat leaves that blooms in the Australian late fall and winter with an erect, 3.2 to 6" [8 to 15 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
