Found in Victoria and South Australia at elevations of 20 to 150 meters in mallee communities on sheet limestone as a miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with a rosette of small, crowded leaves that blooms in the fall and winter on an erect, 2 to 6" [5 to 15 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence
