Found in Queensland and New South Wales Australia at elevations of 20 to 700 meters in coastal and montane forests as a small to medium sized, cool growing terrestrial orchid with a basal rosette of dark green, crinkled leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on an erect, 6 to 14" [15 to 35 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
