Common Name French's Pterostylis - The Tuart Rustyhood

Flower Size 1 to 1.12" [2.5 to 2.8 cm]

Found in south Western Australia in shrubby forests with moderately dense understorey at eelvations of 10 to 80 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a rosette of 4 to 12 leaves that blooms in the later spring on an erect, 6 to 14" [15 to 35 cm] long, 2 to 12 flowered inflorescence carrying well spaced flowers that project forward.
