Found in New South Wales, Australia in in open forests with bushy understories near creeks at elevations up to 300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with a loose rosette of to 3, small, wrinkly, kidney-shaped leaves when not blooming and blooms in the fall on an erect, 5.2 to 6.4" [13 to 16 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with a few reduced, acuminate, acute bracts.
