Found in Queensland and New South Wales, Australia at elevations of 5 to 500 meters in coastal scrub and moist to wet forests as a small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with a basal rosette, of green to yellowish, crinkled leaves that blooms in the late summer through winter on an erect, 6 to 12" [15 to 30 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with a semi-nodding flower
