Common Name The Forest Dwelling Pterichis

Flower Size

Found in Colombia, Peru and Bolivia as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial in high wet montane forests on open grassy slopes at elevtions of 3000+ meters with thick-cylindric, glabrate roots with a leafless, glabrous below, densly glandular-pubescent above scape carrying several remote, close sheaths and has a short, densely few flowered inflorescence with non-resupinate flowers that blooms in the spring in nature.
