Found in New South Wales and Victoria Australia in open forests among shrubs and tussocks as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with 5 to 7 spreading, linear-lanceolate stem leaves and a rosette of 3 to 6, ovate to elliptic, flat to crinkled margined leaves that blooms in the later winter and spring on an erect, 6 to 20" [15 to 50 cm] long, 1 to 9 flowered inflorescence .
