Found in Antioquia department of Colombia at elevations of 1800 to 2400 meters as a miniature, cool to cold growing epiphyte with a fan-shape of acute, conduplicate, recurved, green suffused with purple, leaves that completely envelope the stem that blooms in the summer and early fall on more than one, pendant, axillary, to 1.2" [to 3 cm] long, succesively 3 to 10 flowered inflorescence that holds the small flowers towards the apex.
