Found in Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia at elevations of sea level to 80 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a basal rosette of large, fleshy, oblong to elliptic, sessile leaves and blooms in the winter and spring on an erect, 2 to 5" [5 to 12 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence
