Flower Size .8" [2 cm]

Found in Queensland and New South Wales, Australia at elevations of 20 to 300 meters in coastal lowlands and open woodland and forests with an understorey of grass and small shrubs as a miniature sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial and keeps it's ground hugging, basal rosette of leaves when flowering occuring in the fall on an erect, 4 to 10" [10 to 25 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.

There are references that state that this species occursa in New Caledonia and the photo by Faria shows this species but I am not convinced that it is this species so please use with caution for that country.
