Found in southern Colombia and Ecuador in wet montane forsests on small twigs high in the canopy at elevations around 1850 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying equitant, conduplicate, oblique, acuminate, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the later spring and early summer on an axillary, to 2" [to 5 cm] long, 3 to 5 flowered inflorescence with triangular floral bracts
