Found in Western Australia at elevations of 10 to 350 meters in coastal and inland forests among low shrubs and granite outcrops as a miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid with a copmpact, basal rosette of bluish green, flat leaves that blooms in the fall and winter on an erect, 3.2 to 6" long, single flowered inflorescence. .
