Common Name The Roughened Pterostylis - In Australia The Red Rustyhood
Found in Queensland and New South Wales at elevations of 20 to 800 meters in stunted forests, rocky outcrops and among boulders or on rock sheets and as a miniature to small sized, cold to cool growing terrestrial orchid witha basal rosette of 5 to 10 leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, 3.2 to 8" [8 to 20 cm] long, 3 to 10 flowered inflorescence.
