Common Name The Hairy Pterostylis - In Australia The Hairy Rustyhood
Flower Size 1 to 1.2" [2.5 to 3 cm]
Found in Western Australia in woodlands, mallee shrublands and among she-oaks at elevations of 250 to 350 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid with a rosette of 8 to 12 leaves that blooms in the Australian Late winter and spring with an erect, 6 to 20" [15 to 50 cm] long, 1 to 12 flowered inflorescence.
