Common Name The Beautiful Pterostylis - In Australia The Escarpment Greenhood

Flower Size 1 to 1.4" [2.5 to 3.5 cm]

Found in New South Wales Australia on sheltered banks, in rock crevasses and on escarpments near streams and waterfalls at elevations 450 to 600 meters as a mini miniature to miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with a loose rosette of dark green, flat leaves when not blooming and blooms in the summer and fall on an erect, 2.4 to 6" [6 to 15 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
