Common Name The Tasmanian Pterostylis - In Australia Small Beaded Greenhood

Flower Size 1/3" [1.25 cm]

Found as a miniature sized, cold growing, terrestrial species in Western Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand at elevations of sea level to 150 meters occuring in woodlands with sandy soils but can be found in clay type soils with a abasal rosette of 8 to 14, dark green leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, 6" [15 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
