Flower Size 1 to 1.2" [2.5 to 3 cm]
Found in northern and northeastern Queensland at elevations of 700 to 1200 meters in foothills and rangesin open forests among coarse tussocks or rocks and on sheltered slopes or in small gullies with water in the wet season as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with blueish green, erose margined, flat leaves held in a basal rosette that blooms later fall and winter on an erect, 2 to 6" [5 to 15 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying a strongly nodding flower
