Found in Surinam and Brazil in hot humid lowlands or in northern coastal plains forests at lower elevations as a mini-miniature sized,hot growing epiphyte with a small pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, eret, terete leaf that blooms in the winter and spring on a 2" [5 cm] long, loosely branched, few flowered inflorescence
