Common Name The Delicate Spur Rhipidoglossum

Flower Size .28 to .48" [.7 to 1.2 cm]

Found in Ethiopia, Uganda and Kenya in and at the edge of forests and in grasslands at elevations of 2100 to 2400 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, cold growing epiphyte with spreading to pendulous stems carrying 3 to 8, two-ranked, towards the apex, falcate, linear-lanceolate, obliquely bilobed and acute apically, basally twisted and articulate leaves that blooms in the late spring on 1 to many, arising from beneath the leavs, peduncle .2 to .28" [.5 to .7 cm] long, shorter than to as long as the leaves, .4 to 1.2" [1 to 3 cm] long overall, to 7 flowered inflorescence with amplexicaul, conical floral bracts and carrying sweetly scented flowers.
