Common Name The Fanjing Rhomboda [A mountain in Guizhou province of China]

Flower Size

Found in northeastern Guizhou province of China in forest at elevations around 450 to 500 meters as a small sized, terrestrial with a dark reddish-brown stem carrying 5, adaxially green with a narrow white stripe along the midvein, ovate-elliptic, acute, petiolate, sheathing base leaf that blooms in the fall on an erect, peduncle to 1.6" [4 cm], provided with 3 to 4 sterile bracts, rachis to 4" [10 cm] long, laxlt 17 flowered inflorescence with pale red, ovate-lanceolate, margin ciliate, acuminate, shorter than the ovary floral bract and carrying half opening, obliquely resupinate, medium sized, flowers with pink red, glabrous sepals, with suffused with pink petals.
