Found in the penninsular Malaysia and Thailand as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a slender descending stem carrying descending, 2 rowed, usually purple, long, slender, terete leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on an axillary, descending, usually 1 branched, 8 to 16" [20 to 40 cm] long, successively 6 to 7 at once, to 20 flowered inflorescence.
