Found in Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan and Yunnan provinces of China, Hong Kong, , Assam, Bangladesh, eastern Himalayas, Bhutan, Sikkim, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam as a small to medium sized, creeping ascendant to pendant, warm growing, monopodial epiphyte or lithophyte with a pendant, slender, scandent, rigid stem carrying narrowly oblong, fleshy, 5 nerved, amplexicaul and slightly narrowing towards the base, blunt and unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the summer through winter on an axillary, descending, 2 1/2 to 6 1/2" [6 to 16 cm] long, racemose, to 2 branched, many waxy flowered inflorescence that is longer than the leaves.
