Found in Sulawesi in montane forests as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with leaves that on top are varigated yellow green with rows of purple spots and below densely purple spotted that blooms in the late summer and earlier fall on a pendent, 2.4 to 4.8" [6 to 12 cm] long, successively 6 to 10, to 60 flowered inflorescence
