Common Name or Meaning The Flattened Pteroceras - In Thailand Ueang Man Pu

Found in the Chinese Himalayas, southern China, Thailand, Java, Malaysia and Sumatra at elevations of sealevel to 1500 meters as a small sized. hot to warm growing epiphtye with erect becoming pendant with age, rooting freely in the basal half, 6 to 8 leafed stem carrying narrowly oblong, unevenly bilobed apicaly, basally narrowing leaves that blooms in the fall on several, semi-pendulous, gradually lengthening with time, to 10" [to 25 cm] long, flattened inflorescence with semi-circular, very short floral bracts and short-lived, flowers arising on 2 edges with only 1 or 2 flowers open at any one time
