Common Name Wassell's Robiquetia [Australian Orchid Collector 20th century] - In Australia The Green Pouched Orchid

Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]

Found in Queensland Australia on Cape York Pennisula in seasonal rainforests at elevations around 200 to 600 meters as a large sized, shade loving, hot to warm growing epiphyte with long, pendulous stems carrying several strap-like leaves that are held towards the apical part and blooms in the winter on a pendulous, 6" [15 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence.
