Flower Size

Found in Venezuela, Guyana and Surinam along creeks as a miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome, and 1.2" [3 cm] between each pseudobulb carrying a single clear green, asymetrical apex leaf that blooms in the summer on a basal, arching, short, green, racemose, few flowered inflorescence

Many references cite this species as a synonym of R venusta, but I have left them separate for now awiating new references as the flowers of R flavida do not seem too close to R venusta
