A miniature sized, cool to warm growing, creeping epiphyte from Espirito Santo, Rio de Janiero and Sao Paulo states of Brazil with long stems in between each slightly oblique, smooth and shiney psuedobulbs in youth, with age comes shallow longitidinal grooves and has widely separated, acute, thin, membrane-like sheaths that blooms in the spring on an axillary, arching, 10 to 16" [25 to 40 cm] long, racemose, few flowered inflorescence arising on a newly mature pseudobulb.
