Found in Parana and Santa Catarina states of Brazil at elevations around 800 to 1800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with very well spaced, oval pseduobulbs carrying 2, apical, leaves that blooms on a racemose, 1.2" [3 cm] long, to 5 flowered inflorescence
