Common Name The Red Callus Pleurothallis
Flower Size .24" [6 mm]
Found in Rio de Janiero state of southeastern Brazil at elevations around 1000 to 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing, caespitose epiphyte with very short ramicauls enveloped by 3 overlapping, green to brown, membraneous sheaths and carrying a single, fleshy, obovate,obtuse apices, olive green with purple spots, faintly keeled, furrowed and finely attenuateed to the base leaf that blooms in the fall on an ascending, .28" [7 mm] long, successively 1 to 2, 2 to 5 flowered inflorescence.
