Found in New Guinea and the Solomon Islands on small trees alongside mountain creeks at elevations around 150 to 650 meters as a mini-mininature to miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a usually pendent, very short stem carrying 3 alternate, ligulatte, unequally obtusely bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the winter on a lateral, peduncle slender, to 5.2" [13 cm] long, laxly to 20 flowered inflorescence with narrowly triangular floral bracts and carrying very small, cleistogamus, pale green flowers with a white lip.
