Common Name or Meaning The Green Flowered Saccolabiopsis - In China Ni Nang Chun Lan

Flower Size .1 to .16" [2.5 to 3.5 mm]

Found in Taiwan, Vietnam and the Philippines in broad leaves forests on branches at elevations around 300 to 500 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a 1.2 to 2.4" [3 to 6 cm] long stem carrying 3 to 8, distichous, oblong-lanceolate, slightly curved leaves that blooms in the spring on an axillary, simple, pendulous, 1.5 to 2.8" [3.5 to 7 cm] long, dilated in the middle, sulcate, 10 to 35 flowered inflorescence with triangular floral bracts and carrying well spaced flowers

Very similar to S taiwaniana but this one differs in the longer stem, 3 to 8 leaves, a pendent inflorescence and a shallowly 3 lobed lip.
