Common Name Ward's Santotomasia [American Original Collector of species 1900's]

Found on Luzon within the Philippines as a large sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with an elongate leafy stem carrying ligulate to oblong, unequally obtusely bilobed thinly coriaceous leaves that blooms in the summer on an axillary, peduncle to 2" [5 cm] long, widely tubular, obliquely truncate sheathing bracts, 2 to 4 branched, each branch .68 to 3.4" [1.6 to 8.5 cm] long, rachis .36 to 2.6" [.9 to 6.5 cm] long, 4.6 to 8" [12 to 20 cm] long, overall, densely many flowered inflorescence with broadly ovate, acute, retrorse floral bracts and carrying fleshy, pale creamy white flowers.
