Common Name The Yellow Flowered Sarcochilus

Found in New Guinea in lower montane forests at elevations of 1000 to 2400 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a stem enveloped completely by striate leaf-bearing sheaths each carrying falcate-ligulate, unequally bidentate apical leaves that blooms in the spring and fall on many, fascicled, very short, single flowered inflorescence.
