Common Name The Amazon Sarcoglottis

Found in Guyana, French Guiana, Surinam and northen Brazil at elevations of 450 to 500 meters as a hot growing terrestrial with shiny dark brownish pink above, pinkish brown beneath, ovate-lanceolate, acute leaves that blooms in the winter on an erect, terminal, rachis whitish brown pale green flowers and the ovary pale green-oran.
CAUTION I have no way of verifying the photo determination so please use with caution. I am fairly sure that the determination is incorrect. The drawing by Pabst is absolutely correct to the species.
