Flower Size .6 to .8" [1.5 to 2 cm]
Found in Hidalgo state of Mexico at elevations of 1000 to 1700 meters as a medium to large siaed, cool growing terrestrial with 6 to 7, oblong-oblanceolate, green with rays or spots of silver, acute, petiolate base (3.8" [9.5 cm]) leaves that blooms in the later fall and early spring on an erect, terminal, peduncle 16 to 22" [40 to 55 cm] long, glandular below, denser towards the apex, provided with 11 to 15, glabrous or sparsely glandulous basally, sheathing bracts, rachis 4.4 to 8.8" [11 to 22 cm] long, 12 to 20 flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acute to acuminate, hyaline margins, sparsely glandular, as long as to shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying yellow green flowers.
