Common Name The Large Beaked Sarcoglyphis - In China Duan Mao Da Hui Lan

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found in southern Yunnan province of China in forests along valleys at elevations around 800 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with an ascending stem carrying 3 to 5, oblong, unequally bilobed leaves that blooms in the later spring on a pendulous, purplish black, racemose, shorter than the leaves, to 6" [15 cm] long, sparsely many flowered inflorescence with ovate-triangular, acute floral bracts.
