Found in Laos, Thailand, Vietnam and Yunnan China on tree trunks in broadleaved evergreen forests at elevations of 500 to 700 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying many, distichous, somewhat fleshy, narrowly oblong to falcate oblong, unequally obtuse bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the spring on one to several, slender, racemose to paniculate, usually slightly shorter than the leaves, to 8" [to 20 cm] long, laxly many flowered inflorescence
