Found in northern Queensland Australia in dense highland forests on slopes above streams and on shrubs and small trees at streamsides at elevations of 900 to 1600 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphtye with a pendulous stem carrying 3 to 6, crowded, curved, mid to dark green, wavy margined, finely toothed leaves that blooms in the mid winter through early summer on an axillary, club-shaped, fleshy, .8 to 1.6" [2 to 4 cm] long, 2 to 10 flowered inflorescence
