Common Name The Long Necked Satyrium

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found only in southern Cape Province of South Africa in damp to rather dry slopes at elevations of 3 to 1000 meters as a miniature to medium szied, cool to cold growing terrestrial with 2, adpressed to the ground, very broadly ovate to rotund leaves that abruptly transition into the sheathing leaves and blooms in the spring on an erect, terminal, [3 to 17 cm] long, 5 to 50 flowered inflorescence carrying faintly scented flowers
