Another Flower? Does not fit the written description!!!! in same publication Linder/Kurzweil 1999
EARLIER
Common Name The Outeniqua Satyrium [a Mountain range in Cape Province South Africa]
Flower Size
Found in southern Cape Province South Africa in moist top dry fynbos at elevations of 160 to 1000 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with an erect stem enveloped by 2 to 4, triangular, acute, lowermost spreading leaves that blooms in the earlier spring on an erect, terminal, 2 to 20 flowered inflorescence with glabrous, deflexed floral bracts and carrying clove scented flowers.
CAUTION!!!The first photo by tamcat fits the written description of Linder & Kurzweil 1999 but the second photo is the photo in that publication so I have included both, I am inclined to think that the first photo is correct.
