Common Name Acosta's Scaphyglottis [Costa Rican Botanist and original collector of species 1900's]
Flower Size .2" [5 mm]
Found in Costa Rica and Panama on larger branches at elevations of 1000 to 2600 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm growing epiphyte with narrowly fusiform, green to reddish psuedobulbs carrying 2 apical, narrowly linear, obtuse, bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the spring on a terminal, subsessile, fasiculate, short to .8" [2 cm] long, laxly 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence.
