Common Name The Star-Like Scaphyglottis
Flower Size .28" [.7 cm]
Found in Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Fr Guiana, Surinam, Guyana, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil as a small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte at elevations of sealevel to 1400 meters in open forest and woodlands that blooms in the spring on a terminal or at the nodes on stem, racemose several flowered inflorescence arising on a mature pseudobulb with the flowers held in a cluster and opening in quick succession.
