Common Name Behr's Scaphyglottis [German Orchid Enthusiast and original collector of species 1800's]

Flower Size less than 1/8" [3mm or less]

Found from Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia and Venezuela in wet montane forests at elevations of sealevel to 1300 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing, caespitose epiphyte with fusiform-cylindric stem segments that appear apically one atop another and have 1 to 2 basal sheaths with 2 linear-oblong, acute leaves that blooms in the spring on a fasciculate, subsessile inflorescence occuring at the apex of each successive pseudobulb and holding the flowers against the leaf base.
