Found in Zamora-Chinchipe province of Ecuador at elevations of 1300 to 1500 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with superposed stems terminating in 2, su-opposite, erect spreading, oblong, obtuse, minutely bilobulate apically, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on a terminal, short, racemose, succcessively single flowered inflorescence arising through congested spathe.
