Found in Huanuco department of Peru as a large sized, straggling epiphyte with a short, woody rhizome giving rise to several levels of superposed, more or less flexuous, each superposed base with sevreal close, tubular sheaths and carrying 2 apical, subopposite,, at the apex of each superposed stem, lanceoalte-linear, long-attenuate to an acute to bifid apex, cuneate below semiamplexicaul at the sheathing base leaves that blooms in the summer on abbreviated, axillary, solitary, single flowered inflorescence carrying small, white, membraneous flowers subtended by several bracts.
